I've set this group up speculatively to see if there's anyone out there who fancies dusting off their old adventuring skills and starting doing some role-playing gaming again in the Wigston/Oadby area of Leicester... I was initially thinking of easing back into the saddle with some old school 1st edition D&D (aka Labyrinth Lord) once a month but I wouldn't say no to classic Cthulhu or other stuff as things progress... I don't know about anyone else but I used to play all the time, but it's a goo …
This is a group for those who are new to D&D in the Manchester Area, and are looking to find a gaming group to organise a game with. As a beginner to the game myself, the group is primarily looking for others in a similar position who would like to try the game out for the first time, although we are still open to those of all skills and abilities! I am creating this group for people who live near the coast; to make new local friends without having to travel to town. We have lots of lovely coffee shops, bars and restaurants here. I am also planning regular trips to the cinema and games/cards nights too. Walks starting and/or finishing in pubs/coffee shops could also be on the agenda as would going to watch live music. It would also be great if we could get enough people together for a team at a weekly quiz. There will be a monthly meet up …

A new backgammon club in Leeds, starting January 2013. Will meet monthly at the Mustard Pot in Chapel Allerton. We intend that it'll be a friendly and social club, aimed mostly at 'holiday' backgammon players, rather than professionals. However, it'll grow and develop depending on who turns up.
