This meetup is strictly for people who enjoy the game of chess. You don't have to be good..... but when I attended one of these in Los Angeles, we had experts and people just learning. A poker tournament in a comfortable but professional setting with a dealer.  One or two tables of players taking a chance to win a little and not lose too much. A good mix of novice and long time players compliment the game.  Between 6:30 and 7p.m parking is plentiful.

Each meetup requires a specified donation, and there is a prize for the winner of the game.
