While we all play games for our body's health & fitness, few of us play games for our brain's health & fitness. But recent medical research says we should. It shows that there are 3 important contributors to brain fitness: (1) eating the right food & nutrition; (2) maintaining physical activity & exercise; and (3) playing super fun games with others. The first two are easy enough to do, but where and how can you play super fun games with others? Easy: Thinkers' Toys. What are Thin …

Hey Evanston Social Game Players! Come to a Friendly Games Meetup to play old favorites with new friends. All games and skill levels are welcome. Bring your favorite board games, card games, word games, etc. You can teach us or we can learn that new game together. You can also just hang out and socialize with a fun group of people.
Meet nearby Party Game Players! This group is designed for adults (sort-of) who enjoy games like Pictionery, Scattergories, Password, and Charades. Very easy rules and a nice, intimate setting where we keep score but nobody loses. Typically, we stick to PARTY games and not card or board games. It's more constant action for everybody, and, I believe, lends itself to more goofiness! MAKE TIME FOR FUN!!
Games bring people together and sharpen the senses. They promote comraderie and much a creativity. Our mission is to bring together gamers of all skill levels and social comfortableness, and turn it into a positive experience.

My friends and I have been playing Axis and Allies for years now. We have grown tired of the same old alliances and strategies. So, we have created a revised rules version of A&A use the 1940's Europe and Pacific maps. The major changes are that we have now started the game with no alliances of any kind. Players are encouraged to forge their own alliances, and to break them. Any diplomatic resolution you can think of can be used in this game. The way a turn works has also been changed. We …
