This group is for anyone in the St. Louis/Illinois Metro East area interested in playing GURPS, Generic Universal Roleplaying System. I am partial to medieval fantasy or future/space settings myself, but anyone who is interested in GURPS in any setting is welcome. Its time to start playing the game instead of just sitting here reading rules!
STL Role Playing Gamers sole focus is to bring gamers together.Whether you are new in town or have been waiting a few years for an area meetup to form - now is the time to meet some quality like-minded folks. Dust off the dice, print off the character sheets and actually connect with a crew playing your favorite role playing game!
My mom (a card loving senior) really enjoys playing pinochle. She plays at her church three times a month, but would like to play more and find folks interested in playing. Ideally she would like to find a group of 10-12 and set up weekly playing dates. If she gets this many in a group, then there is always enough players. More details will be added such as location and etc., once things get rolling. Retired seniors who love to play pinochle and other card games should join her group!
Do you like going to movies, outdoor concerts, hiking, playing games, dinner and drinks, live bands? Well, this group is for you. Members will help plan events giving us a variety. There will be something for everyone. Come - join us!

The first week of the month is sci-fi/fantasy book club, second week is gaming, third week is peer editing for those budding writers, and the fourth week of the month is for sci-fi/fantasy movies---St. Charles has a great Dollar Theater. All ages and specie …
